Process

Every large transformation project is unique, but here are the steps that I would likely follow if I partnered with your organization on a new business or technology project:

1) Analysis

I would start by seeking to understand the strategic vision and value proposition for your project. Conducting interviews with you and other leaders and using assessment tools help me learn more about your organization’s culture and your desired future state, enabling me to create Stakeholder Analysis, Risk Assessment, Resistance Analysis and identify Change Impacts. 

2) Planning

During the Planning Phase with your organization, I would likely use a number of tools to create a roadmap for success, including a Training Plan, Communication Plan, Coaching/Mentoring/Change Champion Plan, Change Resistance Plan and Risk Mitigation Plan.

 

 

3) Design

Training and Communication materials are created during the Design Phase with the objective of creating Awareness and driving User Adoption for your project. Materials created might include Manager Talking Points, Sponsor Messages, Text for dedicated web pages, FAQs, Printed materials and Training documentation.

4) Deployment

Communication and Training materials would be delivered during the Deployment Phase. Measuring users for Change Readiness and Adoption is essential during this phase. Regular feedback from users (through surveys and other methods) allows for adjustments to be made,  ensuring a successful project!
